God's Purpose - My Mission

Paul Gonzalez President of SOS Ministries first became involved in Mexico missions in 1986 while attending 1st Baptist Church in Rio Hondo Tx. In 1995 S.O.S. ( Servants Of The Savior ) was born. They built their 1st home in 1998, and would build a total of 9 that first year. To date, Oct.2007, SOS Ministries has now built 225 homes. In addition to home construction, the ministry operates 3 soup kitchens around the Matamoros area that are open 5 days a week, and feed up to around 250 children per day. They also have an elderly housing outreach consisting of 4 apartments for elderly people who have no place to go.

S.O.S is also involved in a number of outreach ministries in the interior of Mexico in the states

of San Louis Potosi, and Chiapas, where they do evangelism and relief aid .
